Restorative Dentisrty

The goal of restorative dentistry, is to recreate the original shape of the teeth after a part of a tooth structure is damaged or lost. Tooth decay or dental cavity is the most common reason for losing a part of the tooth structure. Other reasons a tooth may need restoration are accident, congenitally misshapen teeth, worn off dentition due to grinding habits, acid erosions, discolor teeth due to fluorosis or calcium deficiency during child hood and etc.

Common materials which we use in todays restorative dentistry are:

Porcelain, Zirconia and Composite and Gold which depending on the case the suitable material will be suggested and used your restorative dentist.
